The management of business trips and expense reports requires several administrative and organizational activities. Good automation guarantees saving both time and costs. TNSJ is an application that is very easy to manage and install. It has many automatisms and functions, as well as one of the best cost/performance ratios available on the current market.
TNSJ is a multi-platform web application that is engineered in Java, in a J2EE architecture. It can be installed independently of databases, operating systems and application servers. The certified configurations are the following: Data Bases: SQL Server 2000 e 2005, Oracle 9i, DB2, MySQL 5.0 Operating Systems: Windows, Unix, Linux, Os400 Application Servers: IIS, Tomcat, Websphere Browsers: Internet Explorer 6 e 7, Firefox 2.
TNSJ is a multilingual solution that is made up of four modules:
1. TNSJ. The base module
2. Credit Cards and Electronic Payments
3. Vehicle Fleet Management
4. Analysis and Reporting.
TNSJ - The architecture
TNSJ uses an independent application that supports it, called JArchitecture. JArchitecture is the basis of the entire system: Sarce has invested over 20 man-years for its implementation. Investment in it continues year after year. It allows users to define the following processes freely (we have drawn inspiration from the Workflow Management Coalition publication to design them):
-the free definition of activities, of states or of transitions, of roles and of domains
-the free set up of communication patterns between process operators, using the most popular email applications, TXT messaging and desktop messaging service
-the introduction of replacement rules for users on leave for holidays, sickness, etc.
The JArchitecture also allows the traceability of all of the actions that users carry out on each document.
The most recent implementation in TNSJ concerns the graphical management of the WorkFlow, which allows processes to be represented by a diagram. Even when a simple process has to be designed, if it is done manually, mistakes may be easily made and significant amounts of time are required for completion. However, graphical management in TNSJ speeds up and simplifies this process. It also allows users to a have a global vision of all of the elements that make up the process: activities, states, roles and users. This results in the simplification and swift completion of the process. The relations between the elements of the process and the way that they interact are highlighted in a clear, concise and intuitive way that makes any possible mistakes or oversights immediately visible.
